- W. Lafayette, IN. Purdue University Schools of Engineering established a special
interdisciplinary master's degree program for engineers and other technical professionals
that will lead to the MSE, Master of Science in Engineering, degree if the student has an
accredited undergraduate degree in engineering, or the MS, Master of Science, degree if
the student has a degree in a related area (physics, chemistry, mathematics, etc.).
The MSE or MS degree may be completed entirely by media-delivered instruction.
